Carbon Neutral Status Announcement

As a business, Concept Products has the goal of being the most sustainable supplier of PPE, Branded Workwear, and Site Supplies in the UK.  We firmly believe it is possible to meet the needs of the business without compromising on our environmental impact.

For over 3 years we have been working hard behind the scenes to reduce our carbon footprint.

We are proud to announce that from the January 2022 we have become an operationally Carbon Neutral business – certified by Positive Planet™

To achieve Carbon Neutral status, we enlisted the help of our Friends at Positive Planet. Their help allowed us to work through a 5-point plan to achieve net zero status. Our plan is as follows:

1. Measure our Carbon Emissions

• Identify our Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions
• Calculate our Carbon emissions by audit
• Understand our Carbon Footprint

2. Reduce Emissions

• Create a robust carbon reduction plan
• Identify Opportunities
• Set Goals & Timelines
• Action Reductions

3. Offset Emissions

• Identify our remaining carbon footprint
• Purchase carbon credits to offset remaining emissions

4. Certify

• Recognise our Carbon Neutral Status

5. Engagement

• Engage customers, suppliers, staff and other stakeholders
• Promote the development of a circular economy

Whilst this announcement feels good for us as a business there is a real benefit for our customers too. You can now purchase from us with no additional carbon footprint for your upstream activities.
